Prior to founding GasLimit, Mr. Ritter served as Senior Director for Supply and Trading at a retail energy marketing company, Econnergy Energy Company in Rockland County, New York for 4 years. While at Econnergy, Mr. Ritter played a key role in managing energy risk by developing and structuring energy products for consumers. He was also responsible for implementing risk reporting and metrics, and led the incorporation of retail-oriented fixed price and price protection programs into the company’s portfolio of product offerings.
Prior to Econnergy, Mr. Ritter earned a Masters Degree in Operations Research Engineering from Columbia University in New York City. His studies focused on energy markets, organizational processes and financial risk management.
